Identification

Thereuonema tuberculata is an introduced casual species of almost identical appearance to Scutigera coleoptrata, but differs in microscopic characters.

A description, with figures, is given by Barber (2011).  This species is not included within the published identification keys by Tony Barber (2008 & 2009).

Distribution and Habitat

Thereuonema tuberculata was recorded as a casual introduction in 2010 from a warehouse in Swindon (Barber, 2011).
