BMIG often runs identification training sessions during its annual field meeting. The meeting also provides opportunities for informal training during the field work and during evening laboratory work sessions; there are always experienced members willing to help. In addition members of the Group work with a range of other organisations to provide a variety of training including one day workshops and longer residential courses.
