Identification
In published keys (e.g. Blower, 1985) this newly discovered millipede is likely to key out as Nanogona polydesmoides due to its well-developed paranota, but differs in its much smaller size and long stout body setae. In the field it may be confused with Craspedosoma rawlinsii.
A description of this species is given in Telfer, Gregory, Kime, Owen & Spelda (2015).
Distribution and Habitat
First recorded from Britain at Bargoed, south Wales in September 2014. Subsequently, this millipede has proved to be widespread in south Wales (Telfer, Gregory, Kime, Owen & Spelda, 2015).
