Identification

In published keys (e.g. Blower, 1985) this newly discovered millipede is likely to key out as Craspedosoma rawlinsii, but differs in its smaller size and long stout body setae.

Distribution and Habitat

First recorded from Britain at Bargoed, south Wales in September 2014. Subsequently, this millipede has proved to be widespread in south Wales (Telfer, Gregory, Kime, Owen & Spelda, 2015).
