Typhlopsychrosoma sp. nov.

Status

Unknown

Identification

A pure white small millipede (about 10mm long) with well developed paranota and amoured with curved stout body setae.

It could be confused with more widespread Brachychaeteuma melanops, which has less stout setae.

This appears to be a new species (Jörg Spelda, pers. comm.).
