Identification

This millipede occurs inside heated glasshouses, such as Eden Project.

Distribution and Habitat

This species was first collected from the Tropical Biome at the Eden Project, Cornwall by Tony Barber in 2005 (Read, 2008). It probably originates from the islands of the Indian Ocean such as the Seychelles and/or Mauritius and is known to have been transported to various regions including Brazil and hothouses in Denmark and Germany.
