BMIG often runs identification training sessions during its annual field meeting. The meeting also provides opportunities for informal training during the field work and during evening laboratory work sessions; there are always experienced members willing to help. In addition members of the Group work with a range of other organisations to provide a variety of training including one day workshops and longer residential courses.

In this introduction to the identification of UK centipedes & millipedes you will learn the techniques of identification for the frequently met, but usually ignored creatures. Learn about their fascinating ecology and diversity here in the UK. This course is offered at a reduced rate thanks to support from the FSC Tomorrow's Biodiversity project.
